Having fun training together was always the mai purpose of those teams until around 2010. The new Decade started with new opportunities and the first parkour classes were offered by those teams, as the demand grew quickly. Teams and organisations also started to host events and competitions during this early stage of parkour in Switzerland. In the Beginning of 2018 SPKA was created to unite all organisations from all over Switzerland with the main goal to push the parkour education and make it a more professional sport.

The parkour community in Switzerland is known for its strong sense of camaraderie and support. Training sessions often take place in dedicated parkour parks, where individuals of all skill levels can come together to learn, share knowledge, and inspire one another. These parks are equipped with purpose-built structures, such as walls, bars, and platforms, designed to simulate the challenges encountered in urban environments. The Swiss parkour community takes pride in fostering a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere, encouraging newcomers to join and learn from experienced practitioners.

Beyond the structured parkour parks, the community in Switzerland frequently organizes outdoor training sessions and events. These gatherings take advantage of the country's natural beauty, providing opportunities to explore new locations and push the boundaries of what is possible in parkour.
