We are looking for J+S Parkour Experts!

Application criteria Y+S Expert Parkour

Y+S experts train Y+S leaders. In sport-specific training and further education, they expand the competences of the Y+S leaders.
Around 3,000 active Y+S experts provide more than 30,000 days of training each year in more than 3,000 courses and modules of Y+S initial and continuing training.

As a Youth and Sport Expert in Parkour, you play a central role in the training of future parkour trainers. You are a contact person in the area of Parkour Y+S and act as a role model. Your tasks include organising leader courses, further education courses and parkour camps in cooperation with the responsible cantons. You take the main responsibility for these training weeks together with other Parkour experts.

The expert training lasts 8-9 days and consists of a 1st and 2nd course part. Since new experts are needed at the beginning of the integration of a new sport, we have set the following application criteria:

The applicant fulfils at least one of the following criteria:
- You have a valid Y+S leader recognition or higher education in the field of Y+S.
- You have a pedagogical education in the field of sports.
- You have extensive experience and in-depth knowledge in teaching Parkour.
- You have already taken on important tasks in the J+S Parkour project and have always completed the tasks on time.

The 1st part of the expert training will probably take place on 17-19 January 2022 (subject to change). These 3 days are compulsory and must be attended. Y+S specific contents will be learned in the first 1.5 days, after that you will be taught parkour specific contents in the Y+S area.
The second part of the expert training will take place in the spring or autumn. A total of 8 positions are open. 3 positions must be covered by French speakers.

If we have aroused your interest, then apply now and send us your application to: julian.dutoit@spka.ch. (Application deadline 27 December 2021)

With sporting regards
